AT Pay SoftPOS (Tap to Phone) allows merchants to accept contactless card payments on a smartphone without a POS terminal. The solution suits a cashless business with a small number of daily transactions, couriers, agents and mobile sales. It reduces terminal maintenance costs: the application is easy to download, launch and use, and all payments are accepted in one application.
How it works
- The mobile application reads and encrypts the customer’s account data
- The data are transmitted via a secure channel to the back-end system of the processing center
- The back-end system monitors threats and attacks, processes device health checks, and generates and sends the payment transaction message
- The back-end system provides detailed information about the merchant’s devices and transactions
